Lagos Life salary guide
Pay in Lagos Life is quoted per shift. Here is how that turns into a weekly income, what gets taxed, and the bonuses that quietly raise your wage.
Per shift vs per week
Every job pays a fixed amount per 1-hour shift, and you work a set number of days each week (4–6, depending on the career). Your rough weekly income is simply pay per shift × work days — before rent and other costs come out.
| Job (no gate) | Pay / shift | Days | ~Weekly (gross) |

| 💻 Tech | ₦8,600 | 5 | ₦43,000 |
| 🏦 Banking | ₦10,100 | 5 | ₦50,500 |

Per-shift pay verified in-game. Weekly figures are gross (before rent, food and tax).
Tax brackets (fan-reported — we're verifying)
Community guides say weekly income up to ₦1,000,000 is tax-free, then 20% above ₦1M, 40% above ₦10M and 45% above ₦50M, reset every Monday. Most players never leave the tax-free band, but high-ceiling careers and business owners will. We haven't confirmed these rates in person yet.
Bonuses that raise your pay
- Hit your shift tasks: fan guides report a bonus (around +15%) for completing the tasks in a shift.
- UNILAG graduates reportedly earn up to +25% per shift, and can enter some careers a level higher.
- Promotions are the big one — each level is a permanent raise. See how promotions work.
